I am Sole Proprietor of A. Interior Décor, a New York, Brooklyn based Home Staging and Consulting company.
I have over 20 years of experience in Sales/Marketing and in the Residential Furniture Industry. I have worked for several large furniture companies in New York, selling new and antique furniture; and have coordinated and conducted Estate Liquidations. In addition, I have worked on various residential remodeling and renovation projects for several independent companies in New York. My varied jobs have included urban apartments and consulting on various construction projects.
As a Home Stager, I have learned that I am the advocate for a property; I am its voice. My background in Interior Design, changes the way in which I stage…I like to study the interior space, room by room, as well as the property as a whole. I look for its organic beauty first and I like to start there… Bringing elegance, simplicity, and authenticity to its final touches; staging spaces that will help the buyer visualize and make that spatial connection.
Every project I undertake, I bring my enthusiasm, creative talents, valuable skills, many years of experience, and resources.
I studied Interior Designing and Home Staging at the New York Institute of Art & Design -awarded certificate of graduation; drafting and blueprint reading at the Institute of Design & Construction in Brooklyn, NY. I am certified in AutoCAD. I have completed the 45-hour course in compliance with New York State Law at the Real Estate School in Brooklyn, New York.
I am a Brooklyn native and reside in Carroll Gardens -Brooklyn, NY.

2024 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse
(September 27 - November 3)
I had the privilege of volunteering at the 2024 Brooklyn Heights Designers Showhouse, featuring a 1848 late Greek Revival townhouse historic home in Brooklyn Heights.
I had the opportunity to explore five floors of exquisitely designed rooms, each individually conceived by different designers/decorators.
The results were an eclectic mix of styles and themes, "blending old with new Brooklyn chic", showcasing the creativity and talents of the designers/decorators involved.
"According to US research, home staging reduces a listings time on the market in comparison to an empty home or a home not properly staged".
